Dance of the Vampires
The undead bite: The creepy musical "Dance of the Vampires" by Jim Steinman and Michael Kunze can be seen in Vienna again – twenty years after the original performance. Premiere on 30 September 2017 in the Ronacher!
It's time again to dive into the secretive world of the bloodsuckers: With vampire hunter Abronsius and his assistant Alfred, audiences are taken on a journey to the murky realm of Count Krolock.
Three great musical performers can be seen in the role of Count Krolock: Drew Sarich (until mid Nov.), Mark Seibert (mid Nov. - end of Dec.) and Thomas Borchert (from Jan.).
Gripping rock ballads, furious dance scenes, opulent costumes and scenery, as well as a story full of creepy romance and dazzling humor, make Dance of the Vampires an unforgettable experience. Since its premiere in 1997, the musical has been seen by 8,5 million people in 14 countries - a considerable success story.
The musical version is based on a cutting classic: Roman Polanski's cult film "The Fearless Vampire Killer" from the year 1967.
